PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a calculating process and reduce the cost required for constituting an apparatus while improving accuracy and rapidness of initial response when a motor is controlled. SOLUTION: A constant detecting apparatus 15 of a motor controlling apparatus comprises a detecting part 26, a high frequency voltage applying part 27 and a calculating part 28. The calculating part 28 estimates a winding temperature Ts based on an ambient temperature Tat of the motor 11 and calculates a phase resistance R after a temperature correction. The high frequency voltage applying part 27 superimposes a high frequency voltage Vh on a voltage for driving the motor 11. The calculating part 28 calculates an inductance of a stator winding based on a change of each phase current and searches a value of a magnetic ole position θ re of a rotor from map data in a memory 29. The calculating part 28 stops a switching operation of an inverter 13 and detects an induced voltage waveform when a torque instructing value *T is zero. The calculating part 28 calculates a q-axis inductance Lq only when a q-axis target current *Iq is greater than a predetermined value. |
