PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an upper wear having an inner pocket capable of housing heavy goods such as a terminal for a cellular phone without causing deformation in clothes. SOLUTION: This upper wear has a facing 2 extended even to the shoulders and armholes and a patch pocket 3 with gussets 31 provided in a facing on the lower front at a position corresponding to a recessed part under the most protruding part of ribs when the upper wear is worn. The facing on the lower front is changed over on a line 23 connecting a neck point 51 to the center in the width direction of the patch pocket 3 and an extension 23 thereof. A reinforcing tape 46 extending from the tops of the edge parts 24 of the changeover site to the position of the pocket 3 is provided in the edge parts 24. A flap 32 is provided in the pocket 3 and a half body 33a of Hook-and-Loop fasteners is attached oblong to the side of the pocket mouth and a half body 33b of the Hook-and-Loop fasteners is attached lengthwise long to the side of the flap 32.
