<p>A glucose isomerase is obtd. by cultivating, in stages, a micro-organism, in aerobic fermentation conditions, in the presence of, at least in the final stage, an ammonium salt and a liquor formed by homogenisation of maize. The micro-organism is of the streptomyces type. The quantity of maize liquor is 0.25-5% and of ammonium salt 0.25-3% of the aq. medium which also contains an hydrolysate, contg. 0.25-5% of xylose. The pH is held at 62-68. Used for the production of fructose, with high yields.</p> |
