PURPOSE: A connecting cable is provided to be mechanically reliable and have good electrical contact over a period of use. CONSTITUTION: An electrical cable(10) comprises a conductive element and an insulator(3,4) therefore, characterized in that the insulator(3,4) on one surface is interrupted over its length whereby to provide mechanical stability of the conductive element and to adapt the cable(10) for electrical connection with another electrical device(6).
