PURPOSE: A wheel pressure control method of an anti-lock brake system is provided to prevent cascading or locking of wheels by decreasing pressure of the wheel in keeping the remaining mode of wheel pressure for a long time. CONSTITUTION: The slip rate of a wheel is calculated according to a speed signal from a vehicle speed sensor(S12), and the calculated slip rate is detected to be in the stable range of a friction and slip rate curve(S13). A count value about wheel pressure remaining time is compared with the reference value(S14). The count value is increased with detecting wheel pressure in the remaining mode, and wheel pressure is kept(S17,S18,S19). The wheel pressure is decreased with clearing the count value in case of the count value to be more than the reference value(S15,S16). Cascading or locking of the wheel is prevented by decreasing the wheel pressure at remaining mode for a long time.
