PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal detector capable of detecting a signal to be superposed on period signals having a different frequency band distinctly from a frequency signal of each component or a noise. SOLUTION: The signal detector comprises a pressure sensor mounted on a seat, a bed, or the like, to output an ultralow-frequency signal, filter circuits (1, 2) connected to the sensor to extract a respiration signal component and a palmic signal component from signals (Sin) supplied from the sensor, and first and second pulse generating means (3, 4) for detecting that both the signal components simultaneously become a predetermined value or more and continue for a predetermined time or longer. Thus, since body sensing is executed, the effects that the signals in which the period signals having different frequency bands like the respiration and the pulse are superposed can be detected distinctly from the frequency signal and the noise of the respective components and seat sitting and floor sitting of the body can be accurately detected can be obtained. |
