PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment apparatus for granular substances, enabling heat treatment to be efficiently performed by making water content forcedly and uniformly penetrate the inside of granular substances at the stage previous to being charged into a steaming can apparatus so as to inhibit metamorphic unevenness from causing in the steaming can apparatus. SOLUTION: This heat treatment apparatus for granular substances has the following structure: a sprinkler system 19 for watering granular substances supplied via a hopper 10 is attached at the forward of the inlet part 6 of a steaming can apparatus 2, a forcedly penetrating transfer apparatus 3 for making water forcedly penetrate the granular substances by letting them pass through a screw feeder 18 so structured as to make inner pressure increase gradually from its upstream side to its downstream side is attached, and a raw material transferring pressure regulation apparatus 4 provided with a hemispherical valve element 25 having a V-shaped edge 24 between the entering parts 6 respectively of the forcedly penetrating transfer apparatus 3 and the steaming can apparatus 2. |
