RING TYPE RESONATOR AND RING TYPE ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the shape of an antenna for a high frequency to be used for various radio communication equipment. SOLUTION: This ring type antenna is constituted by connecting the both edges (b) and (c) of a TEM mode transmission line constituted of an upper conductor 501 and a lower conductor 502 having electric length equivalent to the half-wave length of a resonance frequency with the respective polarities opposite, and by arranging a balun 503 for supplying a power between the other both edges (a) and (d) of the transmission line. Thus, the line length of the ring type antenna can be half of the line length of one wavelength ring type antenna, and the shape can be miniaturized.
