PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DVD multi-story reproducing method that can continue reproduction without interrupting the reproduction when a story selection menu is displayed while reproducing a digital video disk(DVD) for recording information of multi-story. SOLUTION: While a story is reproduced from a DVD and displayed when a multi-story selection menu is displayed, a button command corresponding to a highlighted button at present is automatically issued, and the command is executed to automatically continue the reproduction.
