PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system and a monitoring method for an automated apparatus enabling general use to a monitoring device, by retrieving an automatic instrument log data, i.e., a remotely monitored object by an arbitrary key word, and capable of delivering retrieval results by a notice content set. SOLUTION: The monitoring system is provided with a retrieval condition setting means 22 for setting the retrieval conditions for retrieving a log data 23 of an automated apparatus; a log data retrieval means 21 for retrieving the log data, based on the retrieval condition; a retrieval result notifying means 24 for notifying the retrieval result of the log data retrieval means 21 to a monitoring device; a notice content setting means 26 for setting a notice of the monitor information and a level of the notice content; a monitoring report preparation means 25 for preparing a monitoring report, based on the retrieval result and the level of the notice content; and a monitoring report delivering means 27 for delivering the monitoring report, prepared by the monitoring report preparation means 25, based on the side to be notified. |
