<p>The invention relates to a method for documentation of the testing and maintenance of a safety valve. In this method the valve is assigned an identity, which together with the test result, documentation on the servicing undertaken, any repairs carried out and certificate of approval from an authorised inspector is stored in a database accessible by means of a password. According to the invention the authorised inspector is assigned a password for the database for accessing the test result for the identified valve via the Internet and for entering on the database the certificate of approval for the said valve based on the test result from the database.</p> |
