The present invention relates to a kind of electrically heated hair apparatus, such as electrically heated hair curling brush and hair dryer etc. It includes a heating element (4) had a voltage down plate (10) made of a positive-temperature-coefficient (PTC) semiconductor from BaTiO>3<. The heating element (4) has the form of a short hollow cylinder. Different temperature and different fan motor speed can be obtained by switching electrical connection among the heating elements (4) and the voltage down plates (10).
