<p>A process for the preparation of a detergent bar, the process comprising the steps of (a) admixing in any order an acid precursor of a detergent active, an alkaline material for at least partially, preferably totally, neutralising the acid precursor, at least one hydroxy and/or amino group containing polymer, a boron containing compound, sodium aluminosilicate and/or generating reactants for generating sodium aluminosilicate in situ by allowing a source of monomeric aluminium to condense with a silicate anion, and optionally if desired, one or more other materials selected from other detergent actives, builders, fillers and minor ingredients; and(b) converting the admixed components resulting from (a), into a detergent bar.</p> |
