PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving device of an inserted object capable of smoothly and easily moving the inserted object such as a cutter or a spacer on a shaft body such as an arbor. SOLUTION: This moving device comprises a pusher 15 having a plurality of abutting members 16 contacting with one surface of the inserted object 3 and a driving means for moving the pusher 15 in a parallel direction with an axis C of the shaft body 1 to move the inserted object 3 along the shaft body 1 at a plurality of points arranged on both sides of a load action line S passing through a load point O at which the load of the inserted object 3 intensively acts on the shaft body 1. The plurality of points are positioned in parallel with the load action line S and separated by a predetermined distance from the load point O to the axis C side of the shaft body 1.
