PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radar system capable of acquiring accurate range information of a target in a target tracking process by a radar using a transmitting wave of a pulse repetition frequency, without mistaking any unexpected received wave from an outside space for a received wave from the target, thereby stably tracking the target. SOLUTION: The system uses a driver 3A for generating transmitted waves of a first and second linear frequency modulation factors and a receiver 5A for demodulating linear frequency modulated received waves and converting them to digital video signals. A range calculator 7A in the conventional data processor is modified to calculate the target range from a first and second target Doppler signals obtained from the transmitted waves of the first and second linear frequency modulation factors. A target tracking processor 7B in the conventional data processor is modified to execute a target tracking process using the target range.
