PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the difficulty with the prior art wherein the amount of exhaustion is prevented from being changed in response to the kinds of articles to be calcined and calcination conditions, and satisfactory vapor is prevented from being supplied to the articles to be calcined for humidification and calcination. SOLUTION: There is provided a vapor production tank which comprises a vapor production plate disposed on an upper plate of a heater for an upper fire, a water reception tank installed on the vapor production plate, a vapor pipe extended toward an upper portion of the water reception tank, and a mesh net assembled to the vapor production plate to cover the former members. Exhaust means 6 comprises an exhaust cylinder 6a directed from the interior in an incinerator to the front surface side of an incinerator 1, an exhaust port cylinder 6b inserted slidably in the exhaust cylinder 6a, and an exhaust cover 6c formed on a free end side of the exhaust port cylinder 6b. An opening area of an exhaust port 6b1 can be altered according to the condition how the exhaust port cylinder 6b can be taken out, and hence the amount of exhaust of vapor can be adjusted in response to the kinds of articles to be calcined and calcination conditions.
