LUBRICANT COMPOSITION FOR INK JET RECORDING PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of dusting in a calender roll at calendering which has not even solved due to the insufficient anti-dusting effects given by the conventional lubricant such as a metal aliphatic acid salt and a polyolefin resin. SOLUTION: In order to obtain an ink jet recording paper excellent in anti- roll dusting effects, in the ink jet recording paper obtained by coating and drying a coating composition mainly made of a pigment and an adhesive on a base paper, the coating composition of a topmost layer includes 0.2 to 10 mass part in solids equivalent as lubricant of a water-dispersed 2 to 50C alphatic acid amide liquid having an average particle diameter of 0.01 to 10 μm to 100 mass part of total pigment.
