PURPOSE: To provide a control device for a hybrid vehicle capable of enhancing fuel consumption. CONSTITUTION: The control device includes an all-cylinder cutoff standby flag F-ALCSSTB for determining whether or not all of cylinders can be cut off an all-cylinder cutoff canceling requirement meeting flag F-ALCSSTP for determining whether or not the requirement for canceling the cutoff of all the cylinders is met and all-cylinder cutoff solenoid flag F-ALCSSOL for actuating a spool valve if the standby flag F-ALCSSTB determines that the cylinders can be cut off and an all-cylinder cutoff flag F-ALCS for cutting off the cylinders of the engine according to the standby flag F-ALCSSTB, the flag F-ALCSSTP, and the solenoid flag F-ALCSSOL. When the voltage of an auxiliary battery is equal to or higher than a predetermined value and the temperature of a hydraulic fluid is within a predetermined range, the standby flag F- ALCSSTB determines that the cylinders can be cut off.
