PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press device capable of reducing the fraction defective and excellent in production efficiency. SOLUTION: The press device comprises a pressing machine 1, an operation panel 2, a speaker 3 and a monitor 4. The operation panel 2 and the speaker 3 are provided in an operation room 5. The monitor 4 is disposed close to the pressing machine 1. A work 8 to be pressed is disposed between an upper die 6 and a lower die 7. An operator 11 operates the operation panel 2, and inputs the rolling-down dimension. The input rolling-down dimension is input in a display unit 10 of the operation panel 2, and at the same time, output as the sound from the speaker 3. The operator 11 visually checks the display unit 10 and checks the sound. The operator 11 checks for any errors in the rolling-down dimension input by himself. The input rolling-down dimension is also displayed on the monitor 4. A worker who understands the condition of the work 8 checks the display of the monitor 4, and determines whether or not the rolling-down dimension is suitable for the work 8.
