GARBAGE DISPOSER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microbial garbage disposer improving the drawbacks of a conventional one that the microbial decomposition of garbage can not be performed with good efficiency. SOLUTION: This disposer comprises disposal tank 27 which holds garbage and is provided in the inside of a decomposition tank 26 in which microbes that decompose garbage live and a protrusion 32 provided in the inside surface of the external periphery 30 of the tank 27. The surface area of the garbage can be increased by lifting and dropping a mass of the garbage by means of the protrusion 32 to crush the mass. The thus increased surface area can facilitate the contact of the microbes with the garbage and can sufficiently enhance the supply of oxygen indispensable to the microbial decomposition and results in a greatly improved decomposition performance.
