veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: method deals with improving the immune status of iron deficiency anemia in farm animals. For this purpose, animal is given a preparation of complex compounds of zinc and iron and unrefined caned sugar at 0.5-4 ml/kg body weight. For the treatment, 1-mo-aged calves and piglets are given the preparation once daily for 10-15 d up to normalization of hemoglobin level.
