摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective algorithm for determining the control quantity in a machining phenomenon accompanied by a non-linear phenomenon in which the machining condition database of a sheet metal working machine is not maintained in a table or a predetermined multiple regression formula and various kinds of descriptive variables are interacting. SOLUTION: The rate of contribution of the descriptive variables of the required number used in determining the control quantity of the sheet metal working machine is obtained, the descriptive variables which are large in the rate of contribution and effective are selected among all descriptive variables to form new descriptive variables of the number smaller than that of the original descriptive variables. Calculation of the rate of contribution and creation of newer descriptive variables are repeated for required number of times on the new descriptive variables to obtain a regression formula with the regression accuracy brought close to 1 unlimitedly. The working condition database is prepared by using this regression formula.</p>
