PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document carrying device for an image information processing machine, and a document carrying method and an arranging method for an image information processing machine capable of improving precision of a document skew correcting function, and improving document delivery efficiency to be effectively applied to a high speed and large capacity document carry. SOLUTION: A gear train of a simple structure provided with a drive motor controlled to change drive modes to normal and reverse directions, and a power branching means to transmit rotation driving force to a first power transmission system or a second power transmission system based on the drive mode of the drive motor is used for improving precision of the document skew correcting function. A document delivery roller is provided for smoothly discharging documents even with large document feed capacity at a document insertion part and large document stacked capacity at a document delivery part.
