PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a recording signal when information is recorded by increasing a recording speed magnification. SOLUTION: In the optical disk recorder, in which the information can be recorded by changing the recording speed magnification, the information is recorded by forming a pit and a land with a mark length recording method by the irradiation of a recording laser beam on the recording surface of the optical disk, in such a manner that the beam power of the recording laser beam is set to the top power forming the pit in the pit forming section and set to the bottom power not forming the pit in the land forming section of the time till a next pit is formed after the formation of the pit, and in this recorder, when the information is recorded by the variable or fixed recording speed magnification of six times speed or larger, the top power of the recording laser beam is kept to the constant value without adding a top power additional pulse. |
