PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetically sealed compressor capable of securing lubrication efficiency by reducing the oil discharge quantity to the outside and capable of improving reliability with a structure causing no short circuit accident nor a grounding accident. SOLUTION: A motor part 3 and a compression mechanism part 4 connected to each other through a rotating shaft 2a are accommodated in a sealed case 1. The motor part is constituted of a rotator 6 fitted and fixed onto the rotating shaft, and a stator 7A equipped with an inner peripheral surface having a narrow space from a peripheral surface of the rotator and fitted and fixed on an inner periphery of the sealed case. The stator is provided with a stator iron core 11 wherein a coil 18 is wound around plural pole teeth 17 respectively, and a terminal plate 12 equipped with a lead wire 13 attached and fixed on an end surface of the stator iron core and electrically connected to the coil. A baffle plate S or a baffle cylinder Sa, which is an oil separation mechanism for separating lubricating oil contained in a high pressure gas compressed in the compression mechanism part and delivered to the sealed case is installed on the terminal plate.
