PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for joining two tube members. SOLUTION: The connector 14 comprises concentric outer ring 40 and inner ring 42 rotatably joined with each other. Two seats 104 engaged with end portions 22 of tubular members 10, 12 to be joined with each other are provided on an inner surface 72 of the inner ring 40. When cam members 60, 80, 82 provided on an outer surface 70 of the inner ring and an inner surface 50 of the outer ring are engaged, compressing force is acted on the inner ring from the outer ring, so that the inner ring securely grips the tubular members. Preferably, the inner ring is provided with gasket-shaped material 46, 106 securely engaged with the end portions of the tubular members at each of the seats. When releasing engagement of the cams, the end portions of the tubular members can be inserted in the connector, or taken out from the connector so as to separate components from each other.
