摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cathode-ray tube device allowing electron beams to be focused in the optimum condition on the whole surface of a phosphor screen, elliptic distortion of a beam spot to be relaxed and a good quality image to be displayed. SOLUTION: A electron gun structure comprises an electron beam generation part for generating electron beams and an electron lens part for accelerating the electron beams toward the phosphor screen and focusing them on the phosphor screen. At least one electrode GS forming the electron lens part is a predetermined-thickness plate electrode having electron beam passing holes 31 (R, G, B) and the edge of the plate electrode forming the electron beam passing holes 31 (R, G, B) contains protruded portions 32 which are formed partially thicker in the horizontal direction than predetermined thickness in a region where an electron lens substantially effected on the electron beams is formed.
