PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make light emitting diodes emit light efficiently with a sufficient light quantity for photographing illumination by using a battery power source having a nominal voltage of 3V while realizing simplification of the circuit, and reduction of the number of components and the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Transistors Q1 and Q2 are alternately on-off driven by clock signals ϕ1 and ϕ2 from a clock generating means CG1 which constitutes a boosting circuit VP1, and the power supply voltage of a battery power source BP1 is boosted to charge a main capacitor C2. When the shutter is opened and a switch SW1 is turned on, the charge stored in the capacitor C2 is supplied to a white light emitting diode LW1, a blue light emitting diode LB1, and a green light emitting diode LG1, and the voltage of the battery power source BP1 is supplied to a red light emitting diode LR1 so that these light emitting diodes emit light all at once. |
