PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retention device for a pipe, etc., which can keep high retention force of a pipe, etc., while maintaining high cut-off properties of vibration transmitted from the pipe, etc., to a body or vice versa. SOLUTION: This retention device 21 comprises a base part 22 and pipe- retaining parts 23-26 supported by the base part. Each pipe-retaining part has walls (30 and 31) comprising a recessed part, in which a pipe, etc., is accommodated and elastic pieces 34, extending aslant toward the recessed part from parts near the tips of the walls and is connected with the base part 22 via a hollow pipe-shaped cushion part 41 to be supported. The tips of the walls of the pipe retaining parts are connected with the walls of the adjacent pipe retaining parts or the adjacent walls continuous with the base part via short and flat thin connection pieces 43. The thin connection pieces are formed as thin flat plates, with the lengths in the longitudinal direction of the pipe being the same as those of the retaining parts and with slits 45 which extend in the longitudinal direction of the pipe are formed in them. |
