<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, an image display method, an information storage medium and an image display program capable of reducing distortions of each polygon shape when displaying an image of a three dimensional object composed of polygons on a curved screen. SOLUTION: An intermediate point calculating part 41 calculates coordinates of an intermediate point between two vertexes of a polygon arranged in three dimensional space. A coordinate transformation process part 42 calculates a storing position of a circular frame buffer 50 corresponding to each vertex coordinates and the intermediate point coordinates. A borderline calculating part 43 specifies an arc shape passing three points on the circular frame buffer 50 respectively corresponding to the two adjacent vertexes and the intermediate point in between. After a borderline corresponding to the polygon is approximated by an arc, a texture mapping process part 44 generates image information regarding a polygon interior surrounded by the arc as a drawing area.</p> |
