Carbon-containing pasty, powdery and fine-grained waste is recycled by transferring additional carbon-containing pasty, powdery and fine-grained waste, separately or as a mix of materials to a gasification zone (9) of the fixed-bed pressure gasification reactor in the area of highest temperatures. Recycling of carbon-containing pasty, powdery and fine-grained waste in fixed-bed pressure gasification reactors involves transferring additional carbon-containing pasty, powdery and fine-grained waste consisting of 0-4 mm diameter granules, separately or as a mix of such materials to the gasification zone of the fixed-bed pressure gasification reactor in the area of highest temperatures, and is gasified together with the solid waste or the mixture of solid waste and other carbon-containing materials, and that the portion of the additionally supplied carbon-containing pasty, powdery and fine-grained waste can be 33% as a maximum of the total volume of the materials to be gasified.
