PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultured cell establishing stable mass proliferation and a transformation system of Rhaphiolepis umbellata and a method for tissue culture. SOLUTION: This cultured cell of Rhaphiolepis umbellata is obtaining by culturing a part of a tissue of the Rhaphiolepis umbellata in a culture medium containing benzyladenine in an amount effective in inducing callusing of the Rhaphiolepis umbellata.
