PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a suction port body for an vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: This suction port body has a cylindrical rotary floor brush 31 provided with a plurality of suction ports 33 on an outer peripheral wall 32 and an air passage 37 communicated to the suction ports 33 in the inside thereof. One end of the rotary floor brush 31 is freely rotatably supported with a communication pipe 35 and the suction ports 33 of the rotary floor brush 31 and a suction pipe 23 for receiving the suction power of a cleaner body are communicated through the communication pipe 35. Thus, the compact suction port body for the vacuum cleaner with excellent operability is realized.
