PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce generation of suction noise in suction of air into a pressure changing chamber in a vacuum booster. SOLUTION: In this vacuum booster BB, collars 24 and 25 stuck to at least either of the inner circumferential face or the outer circumferential face of at least either of a filter 21 or a silencer 22 and fitted to at least either of the outer circumferential face of an input rod 19 or the inner circumferential face of a cylindrical part 15e are used as clearance generation reducing mechanisms for reducing generation of a clearance between at least one of the filter 21 and the silencer 22 built in between the inner circumferential face of the cylindrical part 15e in a piston body 15 and the outer circumferential face of the input rot 19 and at least either of the inner circumferential face of the cylindrical part 15e or the outer circumferential face of the input rod 19. |
