PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating utensil, by which the supply of a coating liquid to a chip is not disturbed because the coating liquid in the center hole of a tip port is also stirred. SOLUTION: In the coating utensil, in which a spherical coating body 4 is brought into contact with the tip end 31 of the chip 3 by being repulsed by a spring coil 5 and the chip is fitted to the tip part of the center hole 21 of the tip port 2 connected to a coating liquid tank 1, the coil spring is constituted of a small diameter part 51 in contact with the spherical coating body, a middle diameter part 52 arranged in the chip, an expanded part 53 projected from the chip and arranged in the center hole of the tip port and an abutting part 54 projected to the large inside diameter part 22 of the tip port and when the coating utensil is shaken up and down, a stirring member collides with the abutting part of the coil spring to vibrate the expanded part to stir the coating liquid in the center hole of the tip port.
