PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching and detaching structure for hard disk unit which widens the degree of freedom in design over the entire part of a device while improving the workability in maintenance, permits the stable connection of a hard disk and a main body device and ensure the safe removal of the hard disk. SOLUTION: This attaching and detaching structure for hard disk unit has a hard disk unit 10 which is provided with a connector for wiring connection on rear face side, a connector change substrate 20 which is wired and connected from this connector up to a connector 21 for main body connection directed with an insertion and removal direction upward, holding fittings 30 which fasten and hold these, a main body side connector 81 which is disposed in the position and direction corresponding to the connecting 21 for main body connection, a lever 40 for releasing the coupling of the connector 21 for main body connection and the main body side connector 81 and a cam body 42.
