AGING METHOD AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a PDP from being cracked and uniform the panel characteristics in a display part by reducing a variation in surface temperature of the PDP while aging is performed. SOLUTION: A heat conductive anisotropic sheet 102 having a thermal conductivity larger in surface direction than in thickness direction is installed on the chassis 100 of an aging device, the plasma display panel 1 is placed on a heat conductive anisotropic sheet 102 and, with a heat conductive anisotropic sheet 104 having a heat conductivity larger in surface direction than in thickness direction placed on the front glass substrate 1b of the plasma display panel so as to cross the boundary of the display part and the non-display part of the plasma display panel, all discharge cells in the display part of the plasma display panel are lit to perform aging.
