PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for quickly rewriting plural programs with the same program in a batch at the time of rewriting the control programs of a multi-display system. SOLUTION: This picture display device such as a multi-display system has plural unit parts which are respectively constituted of a communication input and output driver, a picture input driver, an RAM, a picture controller, a microcomputer, an ID setting part, a flash memory, and a picture output driver. At the time of rewriting the programs of the flash memory of each unit part with the same program, a control program rewriting command having the ID number of broadcast common to each microcomputer and data (rewriting control programs) are transmitted from an outside system such as a PC through communication. Thus, it is possible to quickly rewrite the programs of all the flash memories in a batch.
