PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform WDM(wave length division multi plexing) communication by variably setting a monitoring control channel. SOLUTION: Monitoring control channel-setting means 11-1 to 11-n variably set a monitoring control channel to monitoring control channel for performing the monitoring control of light communication consisting of a first light- monitoring channel with a band other than the transmission band of a light main signals as a transmission band, and a second light monitoring channel with the vacant band of the transmission band of the light main signal as a transmission band. WDM transmission means 12-1 to 12-n perform the transmission control of the wavelength multiple/separation of the monitoring control channel and the light main signal. A setting information reporting means 21 reports setting information for setting a monitoring setting channel to WDM devices 10-1 to 10-n. A means 22 for controlling application state controls a network application state. |
