PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the distance and speed correction with respect to link information on a digital road map by use of result information to improve the estimation precision for the point-to-point distance and traveling time of a device. SOLUTION: In this traveling time estimation device, the operation management from an input means 1 and the result information from a GPS, VICS and an on-vehicle terminal are taken in, and a calculation request is accepted to calculate the point-to-point distance or traveling time by a digital road map distance. and traveling time estimation means 11 and display it on a display means 6. The digital road map distance and traveling time estimation means specifies the taken-in result information between points with a route (link) on the digital road map preliminarily formed and stored in a memory means 4 by a route specifying means 5, and for the specified route, and corrects the distance or speed information on the basis of the result information by a distance correction means 30 or a speed correction means 31 to improve the estimation precision for the point-to-point distance and traveling time between optional points. |
