PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing cost estimation system for a chemical product capable of quickly providing cost information, corresponding to the development stage of a customer product and estimation precision requested by the customer to the customer. SOLUTION: At the time of receiving estimation request information from a customer, the information is inputted to an analyzing unit, and a manufacturing route related with the kinds and quantity of raw materials necessary for manufacturing an ordered chemical product and the kinds and combination of necessary manufacture processes is selected. Then, the manufacture route is inputted to a control estimation unit. The control estimation unit extracts data from a raw material data base for the kinds and quantity of the necessary raw materials, and extracts data from a manufacture data base for the kinds and combination of the necessary manufacture processes, and calculates manufacturing costs by using those data. The information of the raw materials and the manufacture data base is always updated and optimized by adding the latest information through a communication server, and estimation request information from the customer is received directly or through a communication network, and the result and relevant information obtained by this system is also provided through the communication network to the customer. |
