PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in an internal clock for adjusting device time to coincide with TOT wherein a device time demand source 3 can be put in operation following the TOT, an ill effect on control inside the device is caused in some cases due to the loss of individuality of the internal clock and operation such as following a master clock on a network is inhibited. SOLUTION: Presumed broadcasting time is computed from the time difference between broadcasting time included in a digital broadcast signal and the device time inherent in the device.
