<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum pigment capable of giving a metallic coating film excellent in adhesion while maintaining excellent gloss and designability inherent in the aluminum pigment. SOLUTION: The aluminum pigment comprises 100 pts.wt. of a flaky aluminum powder and, formed on the surface thereof, 0.1-2.1 pts.wt. of a resin, where the resin is obtained by carrying out a first step of adding (A) at least one among a radically polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid, an ester of phosphoric acid and the like bearing a radically polymerizable double bond and a specific coupling agent and subsequently carrying out a second step of polymerizing (B) a monomer bearing at least three radically polymerizable double bonds, the weight ratio A/B being 0.1-4.</p> |
