PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle side structure, by which the load applied on a vehicle on its side collision can be sufficiently dispersed to each part of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A mounting bracket 11 on the end of a door beam 9 is mounted on a flange 7a via a reinforcing member 14 extended along the flange 7a bent in the outer direction of a door inner panel 7 to overlap a side member 15. The load applied on the side of the door on the side collision is transmitted to the mounting bracket 11 and the large reinforcing member 14 via the door beam 9. Thus, while a local deformation of the part near the mounting bracket and reinforcing member is prevented, the lower part of the reinforcing member 14 and the side member 15 work in a correlated manner to subsequently transmit the load effectively to the part of the rear floor of the vehicle body where stiffness is high.
