PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process of drying a honeycomb structure free from defects such as being ribbed even at the time of drying a thin-walled honeycomb structure. SOLUTION: In the process of subjecting a honeycomb structure to drying by dielectric heating by moving the same in a dielectric heating system through which steam flows, a honeycomb structure 1 is subjected to drying by dielectric heating as it is covered with a sheet 5 separated from the periphery thereof by a predetermined space.
