PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash device constituted so that a degree of freedom in emitting a flash at macro-photographing may be enhanced, and also, the flash may be easily projected in a direction as a photographer intends. SOLUTION: The flash device is provided with a holder 3 which is mounted on the leading end of a lens barrel and equipped with several shoes on the outer periphery, an arm 4 which is connected to the shoe of the holder and which can be rotated in a plane including a photographing optical axis and also extended, and provided with a shoe at the leading end, and a flash emitting part 5 which is connected to the shoe arranged at the leading end of the arm.
