METHACRYLATE BLOCK COPOLYMER CONTAINING RUTHENIUM COMPLEX AND OPTICAL PROPERTY THEREOF

PURPOSE: Provided are a methacrylate block copolymer containing a ruthenium complex which is prepared by anionic polymerization, and a method for preparing the same. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing PCzMA-b-P2VP-b-PCzMA block copolymer of the formula comprises the steps of (i) adding a diphenylethylene molten in tetrahydrofuran to potassium-naphthalene initiator and reacting the two reactants, and then adding 2-vinyl pyridine(2VP) to the reaction product; (ii) adding a methacrylate to the reaction product of step(i) and then adding methanol to the mixture to terminate a reaction; and then (iii) freeze-drying the product of step(ii) to obtain a block copolymer. The polymerization is an anionic polymerization.
