PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boundary scan resistor without hindering an input macro or an output macro high-speed signal processing function. SOLUTION: This integrated circuit device having several input terminals has several input buffers 24A provided corresponding to the several input terminals, several serial/parallel converting circuit 24B for converting the output of the input buffer in series or in parallel, and several boundary scan resistors BSR provided corresponding to each input terminal. Output of the input buffer is supplied to the serial/parallel converting circuit and the boundary scan resistors in parallel with each other to restrict a delay element between the input buffer and the serial/parallel converting circuit to the minimum. A selector circuit for switching the holding data signal and the normal input signal of the boundary scan resistors is arranged at an output side of the serial/parallel converting circuit. A high-speed input macro formed of the input buffer and the serial/parallel converting circuit is formed of the optimizing circuit. In this case, the selector circuit is provided for several outputs of the serial/parallel converting circuit, respectively.
