PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool drinks contained in a plurality of drink containers mounted on a frozen drink dispenser surely and efficiently regardless of the state thereof. SOLUTION: In the frozen drink dispenser mounting two sets of drink container incorporating a cooling cylinder and cooling the drink in each container by coupling the cooling cylinder of each drink container in parallel with a single cooling unit, based on the detection signals from temperature sensors disposed for respective drink containers, the cooling cylinders are operated alternately at a duty cycle if the drink temperature difference of respective containers exceeds a preset threshold value (15 deg.C) under a state where cooling is requested simultaneously from respective drink containers otherwise the cooling cylinders are operated simultaneously. Furthermore, at the time of changing over a refrigerant valve in the alternate cooling operation mode, pump down control is performed in order to recover residual refrigerant in the cooling cylinders to the cooling unit side.
