PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain low-acid drink packed in a non-heat-resistant container by developing an effective and highly safe antifungal agent effective against sterilization drug- resistant eumycetes such as eumycetes of Arthrinium group and Chaetomium group and also capable of being directly added to drink, and adding the antifungal agent to low-acid drink, and to provided a method for producing the low-acid drink. SOLUTION: This low-acid drink packed in a non-heat-resistant container is characterized by being obtained by addition of an antifungal agent effective against eumycetes resistant to sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid or ozone water each as a sterilization agent and containing an organic solvent extract of licorice or licorice water extraction residues. The other objective method for producing the low-acid drink packed in a non-heat-resistant container is characterized by addition of an antifungal agent effective against eumycetes resistant to sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid or ozone water each as a sterilization agent and containing an organic solvent extract of licorice or licorice water extraction residues followed by aseptically filling the resultant low-acid drink in a non-heat- resistant container. |
